Created in 2000, this dedicated team of over 30 operational executives works exclusively with our portfolio companies delivering management expertise in functional areas such as pricing, organizational design, sales force effectiveness and operational efficiency, as well as providing direct experience in all of KKR’s industry groups.
Our KKR Capstone operations team works with our investment professionals and our portfolio company management teams to improve portfolio company operations. Through KKR Capstone, we work with senior managers to implement best-in-class operating and financial metrics for tracking progress and identifying problems early. Most importantly, we work side by side with the management teams to help identify and implement operational improvements. Typically, we address everything from pricing and go-to-market strategies, to sales force management, growth strategies, cost reduction, sourcing and purchasing, to capital efficiency issues. In some cases, KKR Capstone executives serve as interim senior managers.
